The first workshop will present some original and innovative cued tribal combos.
The second workshop will focus more on Tribal Style group scenarios. If you dance with a group, or would like to easily jump into one, this workshop will help clarify choruses, duets, and trios, and interactions and interchanges between them.

10:30 - 12:00: Inventive combos for use in ITS

Learn Karina’s original combos for use in Improvisational Tribal Style. Cues and techniques, posture and styling for tribal style bellydance. Never done ITS? Don’t be scared - we’ll catch you up.

1:30 - 3:00 pm: ITS Group scenarios: dancing with your sisters using choruses, rotations etc.

We’ll start with an introduction to working with group improvisation and an overview/review of basic and intermediate combinations. We’ll then move on to working in larger groups of dancers rotating the lead and follow positions, varying with chorus, solos and duets.
